The “Cuvée Saint-Esprit” shows off the strength and pepperness of the Syrah grape. The colour is deep
garnet red and has intense red berry aromas. It is an exceptional full-bodied wine with fine tannins.
Made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan grapes, the Côtes-du-Rhône Saint Esprit
has its roots from a small village in the Ardeche region. The vineyard’s southern exposure on steep granite
hillsides provides the best growing conditions for the vines.
| Wine maker notes |
| The Côtes-du-Rhône is made with whole grape clusters that are vinified with traditional methods. The
crop is totally de-stemmed and the grapes are placed in a vat where they are gently pressed and pumped
over every two days. The juice is then fermented for three weeks in open stainless steel tanks. The tanks
are thermo-controlled between 64°F and 82°F. |
