SHIPPING INFO

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing your order you have represented to Turnpike Spirit Shop that you are at least 21. All wines delivered must be received by an adult of legal drinking age.

We offer 4 shipping options:

  1. Ground Service - approximately 2-7 business days in transit
  2. 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
  3. Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
  4. Local Delivery (We make deliveries (FREE with a $200 minimum wine purchase) to the towns of: Westport, Weston, Easton, Trumbull, and Bridgeport. Due to state laws we are un-able to deliver to Wilton. If you live in Wilton please call us at 203.544.8958 so we can discuss shipping options.
  5. In store pick up (Free)

An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. Orders placed on this website are not final.

Your credit card is not charged automatically. A charge is put on your credit card after the product has been packed and the order is deemed complete. Please note that all credit cards are verified, you have to provide a billing address that corresponds to the credit card you are using.

If the billing address does not match the credit card you will be informed and the order will not be processed until we hear from you. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Turnpike Spirit Shop is not responsible for typographical errors, pricing errors, and/or omissions. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that your shipping costs are estimated. Actual costs will be confirmed with you when your order is placed.

Weather Effects on Shipping:
At certain points in the year, when the temperature is deemed too hot or too cold to safely ship wine, we will hold all non-express packages until the weather is more well suited. If timeliness is necessary, it is best to select either express shipping options or contact us to ensure your package will not be held.

Disclaimer for Shipping:
All purchases are packed and shipped in carrier approved containers made for shipping wine. They are a strong and safe way to ship bottles of wine.

Federal Express (FedEx) is our carrier of choice for value, expediency, and efficiency. Every precaution is taken on our part and every effort made to ensure your order is packed properly and safely. We do however, for safety's sake, apply insurance to every package that leaves our store. This insurance fee is calculated into the shipping prices we charge.

In the event of breakage or loss of a parcel, a complete refund will be made to the purchaser, which will include the price paid for the wine, as well as the complete shipping cost and any applicable taxes.
